Context : Global competition and accompanying pressures to perform better are increasing relentlessly day after day. Every enterprise is craving for visibility across the entire supply chain. There is a race amongst growth-oriented companies to exploit emerging technologies and re-design their supply chains by implementing extremely innovative and effective solutions. Wireless technologies like mobile computing, RFID, radio communication, GPS, GPRS, Wi-Fi, audio-video integration, etc are changing the landscape of information gathering and dissemination. Such systems improve the operational efficiency within the supply-chain several fold and also help in making the supply chain leaner.

Methodology : The major emphasis will be on application areas and how to harness the power of emerging technology. Video clips would also be used during the session.
